Was Blind, Now I See

This pastel painting was a commission done for a friend’s birthday. Her reference photo was taken from inside a “blind”…a place where a hunter sits and waits. As I painted, God clearly spoke to me and inspired me to bring the dead areas to life with His light. I was also reminded that although few come by the narrow path, it is still up to us to point the way.

The friend that this painting was done for is the wife of the children’s pastor at a large thriving church. They minister to and lead many children and families to Christ. God wanted me to let them know through this painting that He loves them and sees the Kingdom work they are doing!
